Learning Goal: I’m working on a nursing exercise and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

The purpose of this activity is to assess your level of understanding of medication administration skills that include:

• Being introduced to a case study that lists information the patient will be taking
• Filling out a Medication Administration Record that includes demographic information, the medications being administered, and determining the time of administration of the medications
• Calculating the amount of time it takes for an intravenous infusion to be administered
• Calculating the dose, drip rate, or infusion rate of medication to be administered (intravenous medications).
• Showing the amount of medication to be given via online tools

  Complete the Med Math Learning Assessment 4—IV Drip Rates and Infusions in the Desmos Classroom (Links to an external site.).You must complete the assessment with 90% to pass. If you do not pass with 90% or higher, you will complete math remediation with faculty. You will receive an email if this is necessary. Once you complete the remediation, you will receive full credit for the assignment.
